How These Repairs Are Done

A short look at the work in each photo, so you know what to expect for your own device.

Board-level repairs

A computer that will not power on is often a bad power supply, a swollen capacitor or a loose connector — not a dead machine. We test each part, then replace only what failed and run the system under load before you pick it up.

Screens and batteries

Phone and tablet glass is warmed, lifted and replaced with the touch layer aligned by hand. We also check the battery health and the charging port while the device is open, so one visit fixes the whole problem.

Speed upgrades

Swapping an old hard drive for an SSD is the single biggest speed change for most laptops. We copy your files and programs across, so the computer starts up the way you left it — only much faster.

Clean-ups and networks

Virus work means removing the infection, repairing the damage it left behind and setting up PC Matic so it does not come back. For homes and offices, we also install routers, switches and cabling that stay tidy and reliable.
